How it all started...
Like many callings, the idea for Navigation Church began with a simple desire to serve God using the spiritual gifts He had given. After years of serving in various youth groups, Scott recognized a growing hunger among teenagers and young adults for God's truth—a hunger that was not being fully met by the existing church community. This sparked a deep yearning in Scott to create a church that would resonate with younger adults and families, one that would boldly address the challenges young Christians face in an increasingly secular world.
Expanding the vision...
The vision for Navigation Church is built around three core focuses: reaching the community, equipping believers, and fostering spiritual growth through Christ-centered relationships. Jesus calls us to be the light of the world, a city on a hill that cannot be hidden. As His followers, we are called to bring others into that light and live out His teachings in our daily lives. At Navigation Church, we believe that when we embody Jesus' truth in love, we can cultivate meaningful, transformative relationships that will not only change our lives but also impact our community.
Where we are headed...
Having moved to Las Vegas in 2014, Scott and his wife, Mac, understand firsthand what it’s like to enter a big city with no connections, searching for a church to call home. Northwest Las Vegas, a rapidly growing area, is full of people in similar situations—newcomers looking for a place to belong and a supportive community to experience life with. Navigation Church aims to be the hope that these individuals are searching for, offering a welcoming space that will not only impact Northwest Las Vegas but also extend its influence throughout the city and beyond.
